We offer programs for children from 12 months old through to the end of Grade 6. If you have any questions about our programs, we’d be happy to help, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
We provide lunch every day—no need to pack one! If your child requires a special menu, please speak with us to see if we can accommodate their dietary needs. Our playground is thoughtfully divided into three separate areas: one for our youngest children, one for toddlers and preschoolers, and one for kindergarten and out-of-school care (OSC). This layout allows us to create developmentally appropriate play spaces for each age group. School-age children often stay after school to enjoy the playground and field at Westglen School. Children from other schools are welcome to join in outdoor play during this time. When weather permits, our younger children also have the chance to visit the nearby park for fresh air and exploration.
8 Children (8 Months to 18 Months)
Our youngest group is in a stage of rapid sensory discovery. We support their development through heuristic play sessions, giving them the opportunity to explore a variety of textures and objects using all five senses. This hands-on exploration helps them begin to understand the world around them. They have access to a dedicated outdoor play area designed specifically for their age group, ensuring a safe and enriching environment. Creativity is encouraged through art activities, and the children are introduced to a range of music throughout the day to stimulate auditory development and enjoyment.
15 Children (19 Months to 36 Months)
Toddlers at this stage are growing and developing rapidly, meeting new challenges each day. Their heuristic play continues and becomes increasingly complex, supporting deeper exploration and learning. They also have access to a larger outdoor play area that encourages the development of their emerging gross motor skills. We believe children learn best in a stimulating environment. Their days are filled with music, stories, outdoor play, and opportunities to learn through simple, engaging experiences. Our caregivers are committed to nurturing each child’s development through warm, trusting, and supportive relationships.
16 Children (3 Years to entry into Kindergarten)
Children at this age are full of energy and curiosity! They're beginning to play with others rather than just alongside them, and are developing important social skills. We guide them in learning how to resolve conflicts and build positive friendships. Our spacious playground gives them plenty of room to move, explore, and burn off energy. They’re also beginning to develop early literacy skills, and our high-quality program lays the groundwork they need for future success in school. We embrace inquiry-based learning by creating an environment that invites exploration and sparks curiosity. Our programming is thoughtfully planned to help children dive deeper into the topics that interest them most, nurturing a lifelong love of learning.
As children get older and more independent, they need new challenges. That’s why we offer a school-age program for before and after school care and enrichment programs that address the changing and more varied needs of growing school-age children. STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) activities will be readily available to ensure that your child's mind is engaged and can have opportunities to independently explore these concepts to create a lifelong love of learning.
