Infant Program (0–19 Months)
At Tipaskan Educational Daycare, our infant program provides a warm, secure, and nurturing environment for children aged 0 to 19 months. We understand that these early months are a vital time in a child’s development, and our caregivers are dedicated to supporting each baby’s individual growth and well-being.
We focus on building strong, loving relationships through responsive care, consistent routines, and a calm, engaging atmosphere. Our program encourages early development through sensory play, music, movement, and language-rich interactions that help infants explore the world around them.
Each child’s unique schedule, needs, and developmental stage are respected and supported in partnership with families. Whether it’s tummy time, story time, or quiet bonding moments, our infant room is designed to promote healthy attachments, curiosity, and early learning in a safe and comfortable space.
Toddlers(19 Months to 3 years)
At Tipaskan Educational Daycare, our toddler program is thoughtfully designed to support the growing needs of children ages 19 months to 3 years. During this stage, toddlers are developing rapidly — physically, emotionally, and socially. Our program focuses on encouraging independence, communication, and social interaction through a play-based, age-appropriate curriculum. Daily routines include circle time, sensory play, creative arts, music, outdoor exploration, and simple problem-solving activities. Our caring educators provide a nurturing and consistent environment where toddlers feel safe to explore, express themselves, and build confidence as they prepare for the preschool years.
Full-Day Preschool Program (3 – 4 Years)
At Tipaskan Educational Daycare, our full-day preschool program for children ages 3 to 4 is rooted in diversity, inclusion, and respect for all cultures and backgrounds. We offer a rich, play-based curriculum that not only prepares children for kindergarten but also fosters language development through daily exposure to both English and other languages spoken by our educators and families. Our program celebrates multicultural traditions and integrates age-appropriate learning about Indigenious and other cultures, stories, and connections to the land. Children engage in activities that support early literacy, numeracy, creative expression, problem-solving, and emotional growth—while developing empathy, confidence, and a strong sense of identity in a welcoming and respectful environment.
Kinder and Out of School Care Program (Kindergarten – Grade 6)
At Tipaskan Educational Daycare, our Kinder and Out of School Care program provides a safe, engaging, and flexible environment for children from kindergarten to grade 6. We offer both before- and after-school care with reliable transportation to and from nearby schools, ensuring a smooth daily routine for busy families. Our program includes a variety of fun and educational activities such as arts and crafts, STEM projects, outdoor play, and group games that encourage creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. We also provide a quiet area for homework. Cultural learning is woven into our programming through storytelling, celebrations, and inclusive activities that reflect the diversity of our community, including Indigenous traditions and languages. On PD days and school breaks, we offer full-day care filled with exciting themes, field trips, and hands-on learning experiences. We offers drop-in service in non-school days.
